MTR Equal Opportunities & Diversity Staff & Peer Training aimed to explore the participants
experience and views on equal opportunities and diversity.
Course objectives were:
- Be able to explain what is meant by equal opportunities & diversity
- Understand the benefits of working within an equal opportunities framework in their work & to their client group
- Examined their own & their team's working practices, so as to be consistent with anti-discriminatory practice
- Be introduced to legislation governing anti-discriminatory practice
- Identify an action step to develop their learning from the course
- To understand cycle of oppresion
- To explore language & definitions
