Aim of training was to provide introductory training to a second group of young people who have worked
with Mouth That Roars, enabling them to become peer co-facilitators. The training established learning through
helping individuals to identify & affirm their skills, qualities, abilities & knowledge via interactive
training sessions.
By the end of the training participants had:
- Explored & applied the concepts of equality, diversity, discrimination & identity
- Discussed their attitudes, experiences, values & beliefs in relation to a range of issues & explore
the use & power of language.
- Explored their role as a facilitator & identified strategies for developing their skills & utilising
games/ideas presented by other trainers
- Developed further their ideas around the concept of stereotypes & young people & ideas for film
- Produced a short film exploring media representation of young people
